Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
Reflection
Technology plays a huge role in education and learning how to develop creative ways to integrate new technology is becoming more important. I have enjoyed learning how to create content from scratch and finding content to help implement the lessons that I created. It is beneficial for designers to be able to create online learning tools so that they can customize them for all of their student’s needs.
I selected to use my Google My Maps Story video as a way to display how students can be engaged in a different format other than having a teacher lecturing. I chose this video in particular because it showcases Google Maps and how it can be used in many ways other than to provide directions to a place. This video is a tutorial on how to use Google My Maps in a nontraditional way.
I selected Quizziz to showcase how student activities could benefit from a different style of quizzing instead of paper and pencil. Quizziz creates a small competition with students and allows for immediate feedback in a student missed a question. I could see myself using this tool if I were in a normal class setting as it gives a fun and new way to take a quick test to check for understanding.

Scoopit allowed for students to have several articles relating to the topic at hand. Students can revisit and reread any of the articles at their own convenience. This is great for when students are brainstorming research ideas. This allowed me to hold articles in one place that was conveniently online.

Future Goals
My future goals for this standard in particular is to learn about more technologies that are available for educators. I would love the opportunity to share these tools with my co-workers. I believe that these are beneficial for students as they are learning to become independent learners.
